Being an introvert is hard, like really hard, especially in this go-go-go extroverted world. I don't know about you, but I am constantly feeling overwhelmed during work calls, family functions, social engagements, even on social media with everyone either constantly begging for my attention, demanding something from me immediately, or both. This is where Je Suis Jeanette is different.
We're not about telling you what you "should" do or even worse "need" to do. It's about suggestions. Recommendations from a trusted friend. Advice you can take in, evaluate, and decide what parts make sense for you to try out.

I created Je Suis Jeanette for inspiration and self-help for other introverts of course, but also for my own needs. I strive to create resources and content that introverts like us can digest.
For me, Je Suis Jeanette is honest, helpful, genuine, and caring. This site is a true friend available to me anytime and every time I need, especially when I feel the extroverted world start to consume me.

I grew up on a dirt road in the Mojave Desert
Yes I did! So many people are surprised to find out this high-heeled, make-up lover, fashionista grew up on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere Mojave Desert. And I absolutely loved it! As an introvert it had everything I needed to thrive- beautiful vistas, stunning sunsets, soft sounds, muted colors. Still to this day I always feel a little calmer visiting there.
I totally geek out with tech, logic, & Excel
I consider myself a very creative person, able to think outside the box, and use my imagination to look at something and see it's potential. As mentioned above I'm also a huge beauty junkie and fashionista. Yet I am such a geek! I handle and set up all electronics in our household, buy logic problems books at airports before long flights, and beyond thrilled when I get to create an Excel spreadsheet that does everything for you (while looking fabulous to boot!).
Most people are completely surprised to find out that I'm an introvert
I've learned to create various "personas" to help me navigate all the times where I have to interact with introverts, whether it's in a sales meeting at work, at a networking or social event, or being a leader at a volunteer organization. These personals help "protect" me and my energy, but at heart (and in my head), I am a hard core introvert who ticks all the boxes.
